    • When not balanced by lateral movement of the legs, repeated forward movements can lead to disproportionately weak hip abductors and tight adductors.[8]
    • Thus, disproportionately weak hip abductors/gluteus medius muscles, combined with very tight adductor muscles, can cause the piriformis muscle to shorten and severely contract. Upon a 40% increase in piriformis size, sciatic nerve impingement is inevitable. This means the abductors on the outside cannot work properly and strain is put on the piriformis.[8]
    • I always look at it – sometimes you see someone that has given so much and achieved so little and then someone that has given so little and achieved so much.
    • When you say you’re going to do something, it’s just like your own child, they’re going to challenge you. Now when they do challenge you, then what are you going to do about it? It’s not so much the program, it’s just that young men sometimes want to make a decision where they feel like it is their prerogative to do whatever they want to do. It just can’t happen here.

    • You must become us.  We will not become you.
    • Tight ends are hard to find because there aren’t many 6’5, 250-pounders out there who can run routes, catch passes, and block. And don’t blame it on spread offenses either, because those players are valuable in spread offenses, too.
